In 2014, the Governor of Michigan tasked Agenda with developing a campaign to change the public image of Detroit, tell the stories of its renewal and support efforts to bring this once great city out of bankruptcy. The vision was to create a campaign to drive investment, build pride and renew faith in Detroit as the center of American industry. Agenda brought together a team of community leaders, elected officials and donors and launched Detroit Driven, a Detroit-based non-profit advocacy organization to promote the renewal of the city both nationally and internationally. The ongoing campaign highlights stories of local entrepreneurs, start-ups, community activists, major corporations and visionary leaders. The website is the center of engagement for the campaign highlighting the stories, encouraging social sharing and ultimately becoming a hub of activity for those actively working to revitalize the city.
