Ali Harden has spent over a decade in Washington, DC, and is a veteran in the arena of public affairs, grassroots and politics. After beginning her career in the press office of the 2000 Bush for President Campaign in Austin, Texas, Harden was tapped to work for First Lady Laura Bush in the White House. Harden handled media outreach around Mrs. Bush‘s priorities and events, and managed all media interviews with leading print and cable and network news outlets. Additionally, Harden worked closely with the national and global press corps on White House and State Diplomatic events.
After serving as a press secretary on Capitol Hill, Harden joined the 2004 Bush-Cheney Re-Election Campaign where she served as media spokesperson to Laura Bush and traveled with her throughout the 2004 presidential campaign.
Prior to joining Agenda, Harden has worked for the corporate public affairs firm DCI Group, LLC, as well as Public Strategies, Inc., where she applied extensive political and media experience to corporate clients. She developed and implemented strategic communications and public affairs campaigns for a wide range of corporate clients, including leading energy, government consulting, and financial services companies.
Harden holds her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Relations from Purdue University.
